Port forwarding in BSNL router Wa3g0024

To enable port forwarding for better download speeds in Utorrent
open your web browser
type http://192.168.1.1
user: admin
pwd : admin

this takes you to the router connection set up

go to advanced set up ->nat ->DMZ host and type your ip address save and exit

if you do not known your ip address open command prompt and type in ipconfig/all you will get your ip address

I have a lot of files on my Ubuntu Desktop system recently i got a laptop with windows xp so i wondering how to share the files my search found this cool blog about sharing

if u want to unshare the files again you should press alt + f2″ and enter “gksudo nautilus”.There you can edit in sharing options
